SANDRA DICKINSON

Sandra Dickinson studied at the universities of Wisconsin and Boston, and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. In the West End she has played Mrs Braddock in The Graduate; Beulah Binning in Orpheus Descending and Mrs Bristol and Goldie in Not About Nightingales. She has also played Eunice Hubble and Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire for the Peter Hall Company at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
Other appearances include Butterfly Kiss at the Almeida; It Runs in the Family at the Playhouse; Out of Order at the Shaftesbury; Light up the Sky at the Globe (now Gielgud) and The Miss Firecracker Contest at the Bush and Greenwich. Musicals include a tour of Dames at Sea and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at Bromley.
For TV she has worked on Eisenhower and Lutz; The Reluctant Vampire - Tales from the Crypt; the pilot episodes of Real Life and Morning Glory, and Stick with Me Kid in the USA. In England she appeared as Trillian in The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy; two films with the Two Ronnies; Cover; Shadowlands; The Clairvoyant; What Mad Pursuit and, most recently, Sunburn and 2.4 Children.
