TOTIE SMITH
 ASSISTANT DESIGNER

Totie completed her degree in theatre design in 1992 graduating from Trent University, Nottingham. While at University she studied at the St. Petersburg Cinography Institute.
She has designed Yuho (Leicester Haymarket Studio); The Marriage of Mississippi (New End Hampstead); Terrible Beauty (Old Red Lion) and Flora's War and Word for Word (Both Theatr Clwyd).

She has assisted Tim Hatley on designs for Twelfth Night (Athens), HMS Pinafore and Die Fledermaus (D'Oyly Carte), The Caucasian Chalk Circle and Out of a House Walked a Man for Theatre de Complicite at the National Theatre.

Totie has worked on designs for stage sets with Anthony Ward for over 8 years on many shows at the National Theatre, RSC and Donmar Warehouse, as well as the UK and world tour of Oliver! and Oklahoma! for Cameron Mackintosh. She has also worked with Richard Hudson on Il Nozze de Figaro and Don Giovanni both for Glyndebourne Opera, and The Queen of Spades for Chicago Lyric Opera.

She would like to thank Neil and looks forward to marrying him this summer.
